Submissions Information

All proposals must be submitted by Thursday, 1st July 2021.

Paper/poster

  • Abstract 250 to 300 words in Word (as a single .doc or .docx file)
  • Times New Roman 12 point font
  • References should be in 10 point font (not included in word count)

Symposium

  • Symposia will be scheduled in special sessions of the conference program
  • Each symposium should consist of a minimum of 3 or 4 individual papers
  • The symposium proposer should identify a convenor/chair and discussant
  • If proposal is unsuccessful as a featured symposium, papers will be reviewed separately
  • Overview of the symposium (300 words), statement indicating the relevance of the theme/issue in accordance with the selection criteria (200 words)
  • Individual abstracts for each paper (250-300 words each).

Review criteria for research paper

Each abstract will receive a general overall evaluation. The program committee will also consider the
degree to which each abstract:

  • addresses research issue clearly
  • outlines the data being analysed and related methodology,
  • demonstrates a clear theoretical and/or practical contribution to the field,
  • outlines the data being analysed and related methodology,
  • is of potential interest to audience.

Review criteria for practice paper

  • addresses practical issue clearly
  • outlines the context of project/intervention or,
  • demonstrates a clear practical contribution to the field,
  • clear evidence in terms of outcome and impact
  • significance for teachers and learners
